So I was at Target yesterday to buy contact solution, and once again I found myself browsing through all of the chapsticks/lipsticks/lip glosses on display.  I managed to tear myself away without buying yet another lip product, but it was definitely a close thing!  I decided to go through my purse and document all of the lip stuff I carry around with me, in the hopes of discouraging that inner voice that goads me to obsessively hoard chapstick and the like.

In my purse, I currently have:

1 - Vickery & Clarke Intensive Moisture Cocoa Butter Lip Balm
1 - EOS chapstick in Honeysuckle Honeydew
1 - Cover Girl Lipslicks in Demure Pink
1 - Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain in Mauve
1 - Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain in Petal Pink
1 - Jordana Lipshine Natural Glaze in Pink Grapefruit
1 - Jordana Lipshine Natural Glaze in Pina Colada
1 - Wet n'Wild Mega Slicks in Plum Pudding
1 - Sally Hansen Gentle Plumping Lip Treatment in Playful
1 - Soap & Glory Sexy Motherpucker Lipgloss in Plum Juice

Hello, my name is Jen, and I have a lip product addiction.

(On the bright side, at least I'll look good for the Zombie Apocalypse, when it comes).

So we thought, “What could we produce to give you all a break?”
A drug that could treat anything from leprosy to SARS,
And you can give it in the mouth, IV or up the arse.

Like nausea, vomiting and losing all your hair,

I've been dragging my feet on scheduling my practical exam for EMT basic, and now the state doesn't administer the exam anymore, so I have to go back to my training program and take the test with this term's newbies. The test isn't until December, so I have a bit of time to study and refresh all of my skills. I made a CD of medical related music in an attempt to motivate myself, and also as an avoidance to studying one night. :) On to the playlist!

*I'm No Superman - Laslo Bane
*Mandy Goes to Med School - Dresden Dolls
*A Nervous Tic Motion of the Head to the Left - Andrew Bird
*Blood and Peanut Butter - BC Camplight
*Hospital Beds - Cold War Kids
*It's Not A Side Effect of the Cocaine, I Am Thinking It Might Be Love - Fall Out Boy
*How We Operate - Gomez
*Fake Palindromes - Andrew Bird
*Lipstick and Aspirin - Lo-Ball
*Mole - The Mountain Goats
*Breathe In Breathe Out - Mat Kearney
*Tell Me Where It Hurts - Garbages
*Accident & Emergency - Patrick Wolf
*Accidental Deth - Rilo Kiley
*How to Save a Life - The Fray
*Ordinary Day - Great Big Sea

If anyone wants any of these tracks, leave me a comment and I'll try to figure out how to upload them (I'm kinda a n00b at the whole file sharing thing).

Trying to decide whether to try and go on to Medic school starting in January, or wait until the next class starts in September 08. Decisions, decisions.

There are no guarantees in life
Not for the present,
Nor for the future.
All I know is
That I'm here;
Don't know for how long.
I love the way
You live so intensely
Enjoy every minute of life
With space to swing
Your arms around
Laughing loudly

Unlike me
Unlike me
Do you think I'm strange?
Unlike you
Unlike you
I am not pretending

There is no time,
There is no time,
There is no time,
Time doesn't really exist.

The past, the present,
And the future,
Are all side by side,
Hand in hand.
You move and change,
Yet you go nowhere:
Everything stays the same.
You stare at me,
And ask me questions,
Makes me nervous,
This room it keeps a constant tone
While I'm on a roller coaster

Unlike me
Unlike me
Do you think I'm strange
Unlike you
Unlike you
I am not pretending

There is no time
There is no time
There is no time
Time doesn't really exist

There is no time
There is no time
There is no time
Time doesn't really exist
